Here are some images of the old press that we used to design the the new one. The press was made by the Hampson Bettridge Company of London in the 1950s. The J-D Finishing press has all the movement of this press. The students that I have had over the years have all liked using it, but have been unable to find one, or a suitable substitute. So Don and I came up with this finishing Press. I have used it for some time now and find that it works as well as my old one. |
