MY SCHEDULE

My current schedule is full
through March 2018

Hello!

I have owned and operated a Gammill longarm quilting machine since late 2004. In August of 2007, I updated to a stitch regulated machine with additional capabilities. In August of 2012, I added a second machine with computer capabilities to my studio.

I can do quality quilting on your quilt top for a reasonable price. One quilting machine is hand guided for smooth edge to edge quilting or unique freehand. The other machine is computer guided for placing digitized designs in specific areas of a quilt. I use quality cotton quilting thread or a low-sheen, high-quality polyester thread - both made for specifically for longarm quilting.

Quilting is done in a smoke free home. We have a rescued cat who has lived with us since 2007.

What is a longarm? It's a sewing machine head and table that eats up all the space in your basement or sewing room! Pictures in quilting magazines do not begin to give an idea of how huge these machines and their table frames are. On a longarm, the fabric is stationary, and the operator moves the sewing head across the fabric.

As a quilting customer, what is your time worth to you? Quilting by a longarmer frees the customer to concentrate on piecing more quilt tops, spending time with loved ones, and spending more time at a favorite quilt store buying more fabric! The customer does not have to try to wrestle that huge fabric bulk through a home sewing machine. Pleats and puckers are virtually eliminated, at least as much as is humanly possible, assuming the top and backing are pieced flat to start with.

Happy Quilting!
