I am privileged to live in this area that is so rich with history. My family has lived in this area since the first groups of  white settlers came here, and one branch of my family, the Creek Indian Wind tribe, had been here long before that time. Unfortunately, sometimes pieces of history and heritage are lost to time. I would like to do my part to ensure this heritage remains for many generations to come. By recording those before us, they are not forgotten. I have ties to many of these cemeteries, others I do not, but every family has a story, and I would like for those stories to be preserved and treasured.
